Museum Harbour

The Museum Harbour presents commercial vehicles with sails used in estuary and coastal voyages. These were traditionally found in the Baltic sea, in straits and sounds and Kattegat and Skagerrak. Several dozen traditional and commercial sailing ships are anchored here, reminiscent of a bygone era.
Maritime treasures like the DAGMAR AAEN by polar researcher and author Arved Fuchs have found a home here. The Museum Harbour’s dinghy collection can be seen in the Lüttfischerhafen. These are used for sailing training.
Once a year, when the sails are raised for the rum regatta“, the largest gaff sail festival in northern Europe, the Museum Harbour becomes a chic boulevard that is not to be missed.
